    i looked back at some of the older kinds of paintings and i definitely see what you were talking about with the lighting. It really adds a certain depth and realness to the pieces instead of a more “perfect” painting which i really like about the luminist paintings. I was wondering who the first “pioneer” of these kinds of paintings were and what inspired him. I couldn’t really find anything definitive online.
